Dundalk RFC – 150th Anniversary Celebration
New History Book – message to members and friends
Dundalk Rugby Football Club will celebrate the 150th anniversary of its foundation during the 2027/28 season.
Among the special activities being planned to mark the clubs milestone anniversary is the publication of a new history book describing the personalities, players and events that have shaped the club over the decades. The hardback book will be professionally designed and richly illustrated in colour throughout.
Work on researching the clubs history is under way and the club is appealing to past and present members and friends for the donation or loan of photographs, newspaper reports or memorabilia that it can access and photograph. All material will be handled with care and returned in due course.
The book is being researched and written by Paddy Lennon, who will be pleased to hear from anyone with material that can be reproduced in the book and displayed during the celebration season. He can be contacted at 089 488 4872 or at mail@patricklennon.com
The production schedule for the book is already tight so we will be grateful to receive any material before mid-September 2026.
